The Digital Innovation and Design (DiD) team at Envision Technology Advisors launched a comprehensive site upgrade for one of their long-standing clients, Beacon Hill Staffing Group.
With 52 locations across the country, Beacon Hill provides award-winning talent strategy, workforce consulting, temporary and contract staffing, and temporary/contract-to-hire solutions as well as direct hire and executive search services to a vast array of markets and industries. Having previously designed and implemented the staffing group’s first fully responsive website back in 2013, Envision was excited to partner with Beacon Hill on this site upgrade.
Beacon Hill’s upgraded website features a new codebase for improved security and performance. The Envision DiD team also implemented several new design features and layouts to improve the organization and physical appearance of the website. Elements include custom icons and typographic styles, a custom video loop, improved social sharing tools, and an interactive “office locations” map. Additionally, the website’s job search directory was redesigned to enhance the user experience for site visitors and to promote internal human resources efforts.
Envision’s DiD team also integrated ADA web accessibility standards. These standards ensure that visitors, regardless of ability or impairment, are given equal and uncompromised access to website content.
Since launching the newly upgraded site, Beacon Hill Staffing Group has seen significant improvements in their Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Four months following launch, Beacon Hill has experienced nearly 6,000 more organic visitors as compared to the year prior. The increase in organic traffic has not only brought in more visitors, but it has also increased the number of applications and resumes being submitted on the site. Envision’s Director of DID, Megan Knobbe Leamy, commented on the site upgrade: “The website upgrade delivers performance and design into one.
