Hobbies, activities, or interests
My hobbies are heavily focused on crafting. I enjoy both re-creating and making things from scratch. I 3D print, paint, draw, design, etc. I enjoy travel, conventions, and couch yoga. I started couch yoga because I am a HUGE media buff. My plex media server is currently sitting at 15 TB and growing and I am only a third of the way through watching everything on it. My other interests include food, languages, reading, technology, and travel.
Interesting story or fact about me
I used to work for a company that manufactured medical mannequins. Part of my job was to install and maintain them. The mannequins were super life-like, weighing up to 80 pounds, and ranged in size from babies to adults. I learned a lot about the medical field and felt better prepared for the birth of my last child as a result.
Professional summary
I attended college at Full Sail University to study Mobile Development, but I suffered an injury and was unable to complete my degree. From there, I moved beyond coding and worked to make my passion for technology my career. I have been in IT for the last 12 years and I have served at multiple companies on a contract basis. My goal now is to build up my certifications, specialize, and grow with Envision.
